AIDAN WAS BORN AND RASIED IN PLAYA DEL REY, SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. HE STARTED SAILING AT AGE 6 AND NEVER LOOKED BACK. AIDAN MOVED FROM SABOTS TO OPTIS, THEN MADE HIS TRANSITION INTO THE I420 AND 29er CLASS. AT 16 AIDAN joined the I-14 class. hE NOW RACES 49ERS, 18s, cats, and many other offshore races. AIDAN CURRENTLY ATTENDS CMA AND SAILS SKIFFS OUT OF RYC WITH SUPPORT FROM THE USODP, SKIFF FOUNDATION, BELVEDERE COVE AND CYC.
AIDAN DOYLE - BOW/MID
Raised in sailing family, AIDAN HAS been cruising on the San Francisco Bay for as long as HE can remember. At 8 years old, HE began sailing Optis out of Treasure Island and, while still in middle school, started sailing I420s and joined a high school sailing team for FJs. HE was inspired to start racing high performance boats in 2013 after witnessing—up close—the excitement of high-speed foil racing at the 34th America's Cup AIDAN IS currently racING out of Point Richmond, with support from the US Sailing Olympic Development Program, McLube, Ronstan, and the Richmond Yacht Club.
